Dr Eckard Köhne attained his Masters Degree in Chiropractic at the Durban University of Technology (D.U.T.) in 2005. Having a keen interest in sports, he specialised in Sports Chiropractic and attained his Internationally Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (I.C.C.S.P.) in 2006. Dr Köhne has worked at many sporting events, including the 2005 World Games in Germany. His final research paper on the Effect of Manipulation on Proprioception of Chronic Ankle Sprains was published in the Journal of the Journal of the American Chiropractic Association in July 2007. He is fluent in both English and German, and is often heard telling his patients that the Sharks are the best rugby team in South Africa!
Dr Köhne is a registered member of the Chiropractic Association of South Africa (CASA), Allied Health Professions Council of South Africa (AHPCSA) and the South African Sports Medicine Association (SASMA).
