The examination includes appropriate general, physical, orthopedic and neurological tests whereby muscle strength, joint function and nerve function, as well as body balance and alignment are determined.
Once the problem has been diagnosed a treatment plan will be recommended. Treatment will include a combination of any of the following:
- Manipulation of the subluxated joints
- Soft tissue therapies such as:
- hot / cold therapy
- recommended exercises to enhance results
Chiropractic is a natural and drug-free approach, and may require follow-up treatments, which will vary according to the diagnosis. Advice and education on how to manage your symptoms in between treatments will be given where necessary.
